Head Coach Amber Bowman

Biography
Amber Bowman was named the head coach of the Purdue Fort Wayne softball program on July 22, 2021.

Bowman received her bachelor's degree in 2011 and her master's degree in educational leadership in 2013 from the University of Rio Grande.

  • Named the head coach on July 22, 2021
  • Had three student-athletes named to Horizon League All-Academic Team, the most for the program since joining Division I in 2002

  • Led the RedStorm to an overall record of 32-16, the program's most wins in 11 years

  • Advanced to the NAIA National Tournament before falling to eventual NAIA Softball World Series participant, Campbellsville
  • Received votes in the NAIA National Poll

  • Batted .356 with 11 doubles, two triples, two home runs, and 33 runs batted in as a senior
  • Recorded 47 total hits, scored 28 runs and finished with a .515 slugging percentage as a senior
  • Finished her career with 32 doubles, eight triples, two home runs, and 92 runs batted in
